Book Review: “The Halt Perspective”

Please see my take on The Halt Perspective and other things Rendlesham Forest at http://emilvenere.com/fringe.html

It’s a worthwhile addition to anyone’s UFO book collection, but don’t expect a compelling read.

The Halt Perspective is like a 770-page scrapbook of factoids, letters, reports, transcriptions, old news articles, photos and illustrations, but nonetheless a worthwhile reference book for those of us who are obsessed with the confounding, latter-day saga of unexplained aerial phenomena that began roughly 70 years ago.

The review includes a “deconstructing commentary,” which proposes some plausible explanations as to:

  • Why the events at Rendlesham Forest were almost certainly not ET.
  • How Sgt. Penniston’s story smacks of classic disinformation.
  • How that creepy winking eye in the forest was probably a 3-D holographic display, psyops to confuse and distract the military officers.
  • And the likelihood that the UFOs were above-top-secret U.S. surveillance platforms based on electric-field propulsion technology.

The “black budget” and UFOs: a conspiracy for the ages

Ah, those Brits are onto something …

http://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/latest-news/567228/government-ufo-coverup-over-black-operations-budget-military-technology

“Similarly, Mr Robinson believes that ‘the governments may want us to believe that what we are seeing in the sky is alien, and it’s not.’ … It was this so-called black budget that was allegedly used to pay for the stealth jets that sparked a huge alien conspiracy in the 1950s.

No … ya think?

But not “stealth jets” … rather … field propulsion …

It’s all in Flying Saucers

Rendlesham Forest – the gift that keeps giving!

Rendlesham has emerged again in the news. By the way, where are those secret Ministry of Defence files about the event, undoubtedly one of the most credible encounters in history?

The agency has continued to shuffle them from one office to another, delaying their publication.

Why? If there were nothing to it, why not just release the records?

After all, this military base doesn’t even exist any more.

Answer: There is something to it!!!!!!

In essence, this was another demonstration of an above-top-secret platform based on an entirely novel type of propulsion technology in development since the 1940s.

We were probing its ability to penetrate even the most sensitive military sites.

The ultimate purpose: If we can penetrate our own highly secure facilities, we can do the same with those of our adversaries.

This is a no-brainer.

But, as I say, it’s all in Flying Saucers.

Interesting article about MJ-12 …

The whole MJ-12 saga is fascinating, and definitely worth further examination.

My feeling is that it was likely a real panel of experts led by Vannevar Bush, but its role had nothing do to with space aliens. Rather, its primary task was to keep UFOs hidden from the public because the phenomenon was largely the result of U.S. military innovation.

The Cold War catalyzed levels of subterfuge and deception never before instituted in peacetime American society.

Later, MJ-12 was hijacked by disinformation specialists, who rightly saw it as a propaganda goldmine. They created fake documents linking MJ-12 to aliens and anonymously delivered them to a prominent ufologist …

The purpose: to reinforce the association of UFOs to the lunatic fringe, thereby marginalizing the subject’s credibility … and the rest was faux history …

But, hey, it’s all in Flying Saucers!

10th anniversary of O’Hare flying saucer!

Well, in the heat of all the election fear and loathing we blew right past the 10th anniversary of that interesting UFO event at O’Hare International Airport back on Nov. 7, 2006.

Airport employees saw a bona-fide flying saucer at around 4:15 p.m. hovering over Gate C-17. The thing was observed by various people including a couple of pilots before it shot straight up at an impressive velocity, punching a neatly defined hole in the clouds above.

What could possibly explain this weird turn of events?

I’d have to say this is a big no-brainer …  a U.S. black program … all the way. They are simply learning how well they can use the technology for surveillance, etc.

It appears that the test was fairly successful.

Because, think about it, if you can effectively hang out over a major airport for who knows how long in broad daylight before being seen, you can do that anywhere in the world.  And that’s one hell of a strategic advantage.

Ah, but what am I saying that you don’t already know? It’s all in Flying Saucers!

Plot thickens in Rendlesham cover-up!

http://www.express.co.uk/news/weird/722373/UK-UFO-X-files-sent-back-MoD-CENSORSHIP

This was so predictable. They have continued to delay the release of these documents, and every time it has been perplexing.

But it’s also really telling.

You know the Pentagon is involved in the delay. I assume this dramatic UFO encounter has everything to do with secret weapons technologies and probably nothing to do with aliens. I also think the vast U.S. disinformation machinery has played a critical role in confusing the public and press about what happened at Rendlesham.

This whole thing stinks to high heaven.

The BBC has joined the Flying Dorito party. What is going on here …?

… this is great stuff … I mean it!

It seems fairly evident that this thing is being exhibited … it is being flown at low altitude and before dark, and someone wants it photographed, engendering coverage in the mainstream media.

Could this have something to do with Ash Carter’s cryptic mention of Pentagon “surprises,” which he has repeated several times in recent appearances? A commonality is the humming noise coming from it … perhaps evidence of a new type of electric-field propulsion technology?

Unfortunately, these stories lack detail. For example, what happened to the thing after she took a photo of it? Did it fly away? What was her estimate of its altitude? The airport guy mentions several possible explanations … but none seems likely. However, he never considers the possibility of a hang glider. Could this just be a hang glider? But that doesn’t seem to fit earlier sightings …

Flying saucers shadowing Russian train in 1955!

http://www.express.co.uk/news/weird/578055/Senior-US-senator-s-report-TWO-UFOs-covered-up-secret-documents

Hmm … let’s see … top American officials are on a train in Russia in 1955 … they all see two flying saucers … wow … what a coincidence! Americans just happen to be on a fact-finding mission in Russia during the height of the Cold War … and the flying saucers just happen to show up …

Do you think there might be a connection to the United States?!

Do you think we might be using our ultimate above-top-secret platform for critical surveillance?

I do … and, did I mention, it’s all in Flying Saucers?

China UFO: Is this what Ash Carter was alluding to by Asia Pacific ‘surprises’?

People in Guangzhou filmed what appeared to be a traffic-stopping flying saucer, in a video recently posted online.

Assuming this isn’t bogus, and that is a big if … could this be one of Ash Carter’s Asia Pacific “surprises,” which he has alluded to several times in public talks?

New ‘explosive’ book about Rendlesham Forest incident!

http://www.express.co.uk/news/weird/718308/MoD-covered-up-Rendlesham-files-in-UK-s-strangest-UFO-case-army-chief-claims

Well, well, well … I think these statements from Col. Halt are most intriguing:

“He also claimed the conclusions of MoD investigations into what happened had never seemed to be released.”

“He added: ‘In the last six years the British have released a ton of information, but has anybody ever seen what their conclusions were, or heard anything about Rendlesham officially?’ “

Rather than going down the familiar ET rabbit hole … let’s propose another possible explanation for this insanely important event: The reason for the cover-up is not aliens.

Instead, the reason for the subterfuge is that this whole event was a demonstration of an above top secret U.S. platform that was being tested on a major military base to study its potential effectiveness in penetrating bases operated by adversaries of the time, primarily the Soviet Union.

After all, if they could penetrate a major NATO base, they could penetrate any base anywhere in the world. And it’s a lot safer than testing it on the real thing … say a Soviet facility, where you could end up losing one of these platforms and risk it being reverse engineered.

This is a common theme over the past 60-odd years of the modern UFO phenomenon … beginning with the 1952 flying saucer flap over Washington D.C. and extending all the way to the present … including the Phoenix lights, the Illinois flap, the Hudson Valley, the Belgium wave …  the Iran flap (which happened at a time when Iran was a U.S. ally) … and the O’Hare International Airport saucer …

It’s all the same thing, man. Just Uncle Sam, not ET.

And, did I mention, it’s all in Flying Saucers …
