Is B-21 ‘advanced prototyping’ the basis of Phoenix lights, rural Illinois UFO sightings?

Ooh, there’s been “a lot of advanced prototyping for B-21” …. according to high-ranking pol …

Others have said the technology is “very mature” yet unknown to the public.

Hint, hint … the UFO over rural Illinois in 2000? The Phoenix lights? The Belgium wave? The Hudson Valley? Etc, etc?

In other words, the basic platform has been around for a long time, perhaps?

http://www.bizjournals.com/washington/news/2017/06/23/virginia-congressman-pleased-with-the-progress-on.html

Skibitski also noted that Nothrop “had telegraphed for some time that a lot of advanced prototyping for B-21 had the potential to de-risk the project.”

MoD UFO documents finally released by National Archives

When controversial documents are released on a Friday, that usually means the authorities are hoping the information gets buried by other news.

https://www.thesun.co.uk/tech/3866995/britains-x-files-quietly-released-by-ministry-of-defence-but-theyre-making-it-very-difficult-to-read-them/

Nick Pope says there’s “no smoking gun” for ET visitation in these documents.

But there IS clearly a smoking gun for something else: the terrestrial hypothesis.

In other words, Roswell wasn’t ET, Rendlesham Forest wasn’t ET, the Phoenix lights wasn’t ET. Actually, I think there’s more evidence that the Phoenix lights UFO came from Nevada than from outer space …

Face it, Nick, the ET hypothesis is all but dead. You guys just can’t admit this because your collective bread and butter is grounded in the ET hypothesis. To suggest otherwise would mean finally abandoning a position you have staked your careers on.

At any rate, I think we can all expect the usual crummy media coverage … inane reportage riddled with silly pop-culture references to ‘little green men’ and the like … vapid nonsense that makes absolutely no attempt at serious journalism.

The election is over: Where oh where are the MoD UFO documents?

… where oh where could they be … ?

I queried the National Archives and received no reply. The last time I checked, a few months ago, they responded right away – or straight away – in British parlance, saying the documents were not yet ready for release. But this time, no soap. Radio silence. What does it mean?

Perhaps this article, suggesting imminent release, was simply incorrect:

http://www.iflscience.com/editors-blog/uk-government-to-release-secret-dossier-of-all-british-ufo-sightings-after-election-next-month/

Or maybe they’re just busy archiving things over there.

It’s best to avoid conspiracy thinking, even though that takes all the fun out, especially when it comes to the whole bizarre Rendlesham Forest business …

At any rate, if the documents are released on a Friday, then something is probably fishy. Releasing information at the end the week is a tactic commonly employed when you are hoping the information gets buried by other news.

On the other hand, if there is nothing to hide, the authorities will make the documents public early in the week, and perhaps even alert the media in advance.

Either way, though, it will likely receive hardly any coverage from legitimate news organs. They will probably treat the subject with the usual reportage, riddled with inane pop-culture references to ‘little green men’ and the like … vapid nonsense that makes absolutely no attempt at serious journalism.

Military source: flying saucers, the ideal anti-missile platform

Some new and intriguing flying saucer news here!

http://www.grandforksherald.com/news/4285111-former-minot-crew-commander-tells-ufo-cover-book

I’d say this is additional evidence for an above-top-secret U.S. saucer program.

In addition to making an ideal surveillance platform, the saucers, based on field propulsion and powered with gas-turbine generators, would constitute the perfect anti-missile technology. Just hover near a missile silo and bombard it with electromagnetic waves, shutting down the electronic controls. Such systems are being commercially developed (http://www.bbc.com/news/technology-25197786), and you can bet your bottom dollar the U.S. military has had this capability for decades.

But why use such a system against our own missile installations, you ask?

The answer is simple: testing in a real-life scenario, the “living lab.” These were desperate times, the Cold War. And if a defensive technology could be shown to thwart U.S. weapons systems, then it would likely work against the Soviet systems.

Ah, but I’m not telling you anything you don’t already know.

It’s all in Flying Saucers!

Rendlesham Forest author: ‘I’ve been deceived …’

… well, duh.

http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/ufo-expert-accuses-co-author-10527844

How’s this for a wake-up call, Peter?

Yes, you were deceived by Larry Warren. And Nick Pope was deceived by James Penniston (because if you believe his account, I’ve got a bridge for sale in Brooklyn) … and Bill Birnes was deceived by Philip Corso …

Actually, I think “deceived” is charitable.

You guys have been duped for decades. The masters of disinformation have run roughshod over “ufology” since its inception.

Yes, Peter, you’ve been infiltrated and manipulated and exploited and just downright manhandled.

And, yet, you still just don’t get it.

Here it is in a nutshell: if your main sources can’t be trusted that means the whole ET hypothesis is suspect.

You’ve all been had … it’s classic disinformation. What do you need, a road map?

Files related to Rendlesham Forest encounter finally coming soon

Well, this is pretty unambiguous: mid-June …although, with the caveat “hopefully” …

I’m skeptical, considering the history.

MUFON conference to probe alleged secret U.S. space program

The Mutual UFO Network’s 2017 International UFO Symposium, July 20-23 in Las Vegas, will focus on the possible existence of a secret U.S. space program.

http://www.satprnews.com/2017/03/15/secret-space-program-focus-of-mufon-2017-international-ufo-symposium/

Bravo to MUFON for giving proper attention to this subject.

Is ufology finally starting to pay attention?

Such a conspiracy would be orders of magnitude beyond Watergate, an ongoing decades-long cabal calling into question our very system of government: a program so secret its existence is shielded from Congress, the president, and the people.

It would be the most profound military conspiracy since the Manhattan Project.

Unfortunately, as always, MUFON continues to be obsessed with the ET hypothesis, the notion of “reverse engineered” alien technology and other rubbish …

Here’s a news flash: the human race doesn’t need assistance from space aliens to invent paradigm-changing technologies. One only needs to recall: the microchip, lasers, fiber optics, nuclear weapons, nuclear energy, microwave ovens, medical imaging systems, robotics …

Unless you think aliens were behind these modern marvels as well.

Springtime and renewal: the Rendlesham Forest cover-up …

Well, it’s officially spring, so it’s time to renew our ongoing and futile quest for those final reports from the Ministry of Defence regarding the Rendlesham Forest incident.

Last year, when their release was delayed yet again, we were told that they would be transferred to The National Archives sometime this year, spring at the earliest. So I recently checked and was told by the archives that it is working with the MoD but that there is not a definitive date for the transfer of these files.

Boy, considering the fact that there’s nothing to this whole thing – at least according to officialdom – they sure are taking their time.

It’s been, what, almost two years since these records were supposed to be released?

I think it’s fair to say this is a cover-up. And when we finally do receive the docs … much will be covered up, to be sure.

What could possibly justify these delays?  The military bases where this historic encounter took place are now closed. The Cold War is over. My speculation is that it was not ET. Rather, it was likely the U.S. testing its above-top-secret field-propulsion platform, and the Brits understand this. Hence, the repeated assertions by the authorities that the events surrounding Rendlesham Forest represent “no threat” to national security, and the need for continued subterfuge.

Also, please see my take on The Halt Perspective and other things Rendlesham Forest at http://emilvenere.com/files/120622222.pdf

The Halt Perspective is a worthwhile addition to anyone’s UFO book collection, but don’t expect a compelling read.

It’s like a 770-page scrapbook of factoids, letters, reports, transcriptions, old news articles, photos and illustrations, but nonetheless a worthwhile reference book for those of us who are obsessed with the confounding, latter-day saga of unexplained aerial phenomena.

The review includes a “deconstructing commentary,” which proposes some plausible explanations touching on:

  • How Sgt. Penniston’s story smacks of classic disinformation.
  • How that creepy winking eye in the forest was probably a 3-D holographic display, psyops to confuse and distract.
  • And the likelihood that the UFOs were not ET, but an above-top-secret U.S. surveillance platforms based on electric-field propulsion technology.

Alas, the strange saga that is the Rendlesham Forest incident is not an isolated event. Rather, it fits neatly into a series of like encounters going back 40 years or longer.

But, hey, it’s all in Flying Saucers.

Jimmy Kimmel needles Bush 43 about UFOs

Jimmy Kimmel is at it again, pestering a former president about UFOs, and you gotta love it!

http://www.idigitaltimes.com/ufo-news-2017-george-w-bush-refuses-disclosure-audience-applauds-586945

You also have to find Dubya’s cryptic response sort of telling … from the linked account.

“This is a question that I think is very important to me and very important to the country,” Kimmel said. “When you were in office — and I don’t know when this happened or if it happened — did you go through the secret files; the UFO documents?” The audience broke into laughter.

“Maybe,” Bush said. “I’m not telling you nothing.”

Bush is not the first president or politician to refuse any form of disclosure on Kimmel’s show. He’s also pressed Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, who made a joke of it on Kimmel, but later told GQ, “I gotta tell you, it’s a little disappointing. People always ask me about Roswell and the aliens and UFOs, and it turns out the stuff going on that’s top secret isn’t near as exciting as you’d expect.”

That would come as disappointing to disclosure advocates, who have been struggling to pressure the government into releasing anything they know about UFOs or extraterrestrials. Many, including the Disclosure Project, which pushed for congressional hearings in the 90s, believe the government is hiding advanced energy technology, including propulsion systems reverse-engineered from extraterrestrial vessels. While some are just curious what the government is hiding, others hope eventual disclosure could lead to environmental and global political revolution.

While Bush continued the tight-lipped tradition, UFO hunters may find some paradoxical comfort in how GWB’s assessment differed from Obama’s. “Are there really great secrets that you know that you can’t share with people?” Kimmel asked.

“Yeah,” Bush said.
